The engine line-up with the introduction of the new XC13 engine bring cutting-edge solutions, excellent fuel efficiency, with a consistent reduction in consumption.

The Cursor 9 engine is perfect for lighter configurations.

Cursor xC13
New XCursor 13 diesel brings state-of-the-art powerline technologies such as Dual Flow Turbine Volute for Downspeeding, Higher fuel injection pressure (2.500 bar), New lighter cylinder block, crankshaft and camshaft, Smart auxiliaries and Friction reductions.

The Top Engine rating produces up to 580 hp and 2,500 Nm of torque, perfect for heavy-duty missions that require maximum performance.

Engine weight has been reduced by 10%, while durability standard is now up to 1,6 million kilometres, 33% greater than its predecessor.

The high torque available at low engine speeds (downspeeding) is ideal for off road performance and also permits the use of faster rear axle ratios which lowering engine RPMs when travelling at cruising speeds so reducing fuel consumption.

The new High Performance Engine Brake is the best in the market, capable to substitute the Intarder in most missions.

Exceptional performance with lower consumption is improved by the new Traxon 2 transmission and improved aerodynamics with mirror less cameras for rear visibility.

In addition, the total compatibility of the Cursor diesel engine family Euro VI/E with second-generation biofuels HVO / XTL (EN 15940) reduces well to wheel CO2 emissions.

Traxon 2 Gearbox and HI-TRACTION

Traxon 2 gearbox with off-road functionality
The Traxon 2 12-speed automated gearbox offers a range of features, including rocking mode, off-road mode, creep mode and four speeds in reverse for easy off-road handling.

HI-TRACTION
The HI-TRACTION system automatically activates to provide additional front hydraulic traction when needed and prevent rear axle slip on slippery surfaces. It offers all the advantages of all-wheel drive in terms of grip, handling and driving safety.

The HI-TRACTION system is activated manually allowing you to switch from the “Not active” mode to the “Ready to engage” mode. The system then runs in the background and is ready to activate when needed. In the event of rear axle slip, the system automatically switches to “Active” mode and provides front-wheel drive.

The system is disabled when:

• the driver presses the button in the cab.
• The vehicle returns to normal driving conditions and speeds.
• The oil temperature in the hydraulic circuit exceeds 90 deg C.

Boost mode is activated at each stop start (0 to 3 km/h) to improve traction and reduce clutch wear.

Choose between pneumatic and mechanical suspensions – both parabolic and semi-elliptical – to give you maximum flexibility. The new tandem axle heavy-duty rear suspension system optimizes vehicle weight and improves off-road performance with increased ground clearance and improved departure angle.

Improved brake performance and safety
The new architecture of the EBS system and all wheel disc brakes on vehicles with partial traction have significantly improved vehicle performance and driver safety. The new Super Engine Brake ensures safety even in long downhill descents.

The new rear axles and new-design air suspension for tandem axles have been tested in the harshest conditions over the toughest terrains. With the 12-speed TRAXON2 automated gearbox you can benefit from a host of functionalities such as Rocking Mode, Off-road Mode, Creeping Mode and 4 reverse gears to tackle with ease the toughest off-road conditions.

Timber transport
The IVECO T-Way provides the high power you need and offers the ideal features to easily load, transport and unload timber. It will comfortably transport the logs through forests, woods and roads, to the intended destination: our high-power engines, Rugged chassis, high payload capacity and hydrostatic traction are all features designed for the most complex missions.
With HI-TRACTION, you can rely on all the traction you need to carry more payload. While it’s lighter than all-wheel drive, it gives you all the grip you need on dirt roads, even after the vehicle has been unloaded.
It is also available with the new Creep Mode function, which completely disconnects the driveline allowing you to move the vehicle only by hydrostatic power.

Semi-trailer with tipper box
The IVECO T-Way tractors in the 6×4 configuration combine the best of fuel efficiency with the most advanced safety technologies of the new cab.
Thanks to these characteristics it will be easy to face the most difficult conditions in the yards, guaranteeing at the same time productivity and safety at the highest levels and an excellent Total Operating Cost.

Concrete (concrete mixers, concrete pumps)
With the IVECO T-Way, you can meet any concrete construction site requirement, from a simple concrete mixer to pumps and concrete pumps.
The introduction of a full range of PTO in various positions on the vehicle enables the requirements of any application with torque greater than 2000 Nm to be met.

Public utilities
Thanks to the wide range of configurations and extreme versatility, the IVECO T-Way range is able to meet the requirements of many applications, including road building, snow clearance, waste collection and road maintenance.

Mixer

The IVECO T-Way is designed to carry very high payloads on any terrain.
You can install concrete mixers with a high capacity of up to 12 m³ for a GVW of 40 tonnes.

Improved direct and indirect visibility
The mirrors’ aerodynamic design and optimised positioning further improves visibility. Aerodynamics can be further improved with mirror less cameras for rear visibility.The rear glass of the AD/AT cabs provides excellent visibility at the rear of the vehicle.

Power Take Off
The hydraulic lifting circuit of the body is operated by a power take-off actuated by the gearbox or motor, which provides the power needed to operate all types of tipper bodies.

Thanks to its robust frame and weight optimisation, the IVECO T-Way is designed to be equipped with high-capacity tippers to carry high payloads.

Rear suspension
The IVECO T-Way offers the possibility to choose between leaf springs or air springs that can be combined with all configurations. Air suspension optimises comfort and reduces the load height of the vehicle.

The IVECO T-Way can adapt to any type of crane, from simple platforms to platform cranes.
The vehicle’s ruggedness and modular concept allow cranes to be installed at the rear of the cab, in the centre or at the rear of the vehicle, without compromising stability.

Gully and Drain emptiers

The IVECO T-Way is optimised for easy installation of a body for emptying cesspools and to provide all the necessary functionality.
High performance is an essential requirement in this type of missions and the new clutch independent sandwich PTO designed to develop up to 2300 Nm provides the high torque required.

A new interior design

Superior onboard living is achieved thanks to the new steering wheel, new full TFT instrument cluster and infotainment, mirrorless cameras and electric parking brake. With the steering wheel diameter reduced to 450 mm, a “Car like” feeling is ensured. Cup and bottle holders are conveniently located

The driver and passenger’s comfort is guaranteed by a choice of seats all with full backrest. You can choose from vinyl or fabric, heated, air suspension, lumber support and even seat belt colour.

Everything in its place
Storage Compartments for objects and documents are located both inside and under the cabine.

Level 2 ADAS systems and general safety regulation compliance support the driver to be more comfortable and safer.

HIGHWAY ASSIST

Actively supports the driver in keeping to the centre of the lane  so reducing driver fatigue thanks to the use of the Front Camera, Active Steering and the Capacitive Hands-off Detection. It can be automatically activated with the Adaptive Cruise Control.

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL WITH STOP&GO

Supports the driver in keeping to the desired speed along with maintaining a safe distance to the vehicle in front. It controls engine and braking power according to traffic conditions.

DDAW: Driver Drowsiness Attention Warning

This feature monitors the driver alertness and provides a warning when they are drowsy. It helps to avoid dangerous situations for the driver, passengers and all others road users.

ALC: Alcohol Interlock Preparation

Alcohol interlocks enhance traffic safety by preventing people whose driving is impaired due to excess alcohol consumption from driving a motor vehicle. This function manages the alcohol interlock installation providing a standardized interface for the fitment of the Iveco factory option or any compatible aftermarket alcohol interlock devices in to the truck.

ISA: Intelligent Speed Assist

Intelligent speed assistance (ISA) is a system which aids the driver in observing the appropriate speed for the road environment by providing visual and acoustic feedback to the driver. Speed limit information is obtained through observation of road signs and signals, based on infrastructure signals or electronic map data.

MOIS: Moving Off Info System

The system detects and informs the driver of the presence of pedestrians and cyclists in the close-proximity forward blind-spot of the vehicle and warns the driver of a potential collision.

BSIS: Blind Spot info System

The Blind Spot Information system (BSIS) monitors the vehicle side and front side and warns the driver about Vunerable Road Users in close-proximity who might be endangered during a potential turning manoeuvre to the passenger side. There is an option to add this to the driver side as well. The Blind Spot Information system (BSIS) warns the driver when the risk of a collision increases (driver steers or indicates towards VRU).

REV: Reversing Detection

This is a system to make the driver aware of people and objects at the rear of the vehicle with the primary aim of avoiding collisions when reversing. It is achieved with a camera and the display screen on the dashboard.

ESS: Emergency Stop Signal

ESS enhances traffic safety by indicating to other road users to the rear if heavy or emergency braking is being applied to the vehicle.The warning is given by flashing the stop lamps and applying the hazard lamps once stopped.

Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS)

The Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) alerts you when the vehicle changes lanes in an unwanted way. Thanks to a camera mounted at the level of the windscreen, the system recognizes the road markings, and sounds an acoustic alarm when it detects a movement of the vehicle without the direction indicators being activated.

Electronic Vehicle Stability Control (EVSC) and Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEBS)

Designed to avoid accidents caused when the driver is distracted: the AEBS system measures the distance from the vehicle in front, and calculates the time of a potential collision. The brakes are applied automatically to reduce the vehicle speed and risk of collision. The EVSC system monitors lateral loads and reduces power and applies brakes to control potential spins or rollover.

TPMS: Tyre Pressure Monitoring

The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) function has the aim to constantly monitor the status of PRESSURE and TEMPERATURE of the tyres and provide warning to the driver whenever a problem occurs.
