High truck performance

Available with our 160, to 210 HP Tector 5 (4.5 litre) engines and Tector 7 (6.7 litre) from 220HP up to 320 HP all specially designed for high truck performance in all applications. Besides the proven Tector 5 (4.5 litre) and Tector 7 (6.7 litre) diesel engines, the New 6.7 litre CNG engine uses the most environmentally-friendly fuel commercially available.

Transmissions

A choice of 6 and 9 speed manual transmissions or 8 speed ZF automatic transmission ensures that the optimal driveline can be created for any mission. 5 speed Allison automatic transmissions are also available for those missions that require them.

Air suspensions

Controlled by an ECAS (Electronically Controlled Air Suspension) system to guarantee a constant vehicle height regardless of the load level, they can be fitted to either the rear axle only or to both axles.

 

Robust and reliable

The front and rear axles and the braking system guarantee the mechanical reliability and performance over time.
– Air-hydraulic braking system on the 6- to 10-tonne range
– Full air braking system on the 11- to 19-tonne range
– All 4×2 versions are equipped with disc brakes all round as standard.

 

Engine Braking

An exhaust flap helps improve engine braking power (thereby improving the vehicle’s overall braking capacity). Optional Electric and hydraulic retarders available

The natural solution for the environment

CNG is the most environmentally-friendly fuel commercially available.

IVECO’s new 6.7litre CNG engine available with 220HP to 280HP .
The vehicle’s features are identical to the diesel versions.
Thanks to the EU derogation, 18t CNG vehicles can have a bonus mass to match the increase in tare weight.
Vehicles below 18t have optional higher GVW plating available to compensate.
The Eurocargo Natural Gas is particularly at home in major cities – its low emissions mean it is allowed to drive in restricted traffic zones and its quiet operation makes it perfect for night-time work (PIEK Quiet Truck Test Certified at less than 72dB).

Easy installation of the body
The various configurations of the Eurocargo simplify the installation of the body, allowing you to meet any need. In addition to the standard arrangement, additional configurations are available that keep the right or left side of the frame free, which is a necessity for side-loading bodies.

Eurocargo offers factory mounting solutions for easy installation of sweeper bodies (available for 15 and 16 tonne versions).

Sweeper
The specific configuration for sweepers provides for the relocation of components (such as air intake, batteries, fuel and AdBlue tanks and exhaust…) to behind the cab and adaptions to the chassis to facilitate the installation of the bodywork.

Easy installation of the body
Eurocargo is the only vehicle in its class to offer a chassis configuration dedicated to CNG sweepers. This specific configuration leaves the left and right side of the chassis free to simplify the installation of the bodywork.

Road maintanance

Eurocargo is the ideal vehicle for road maintenance applications and is suitable for the installation of cranes, access platforms, grab loaders and all equipment requiring stabilisers behind the cab.

The cab

Modern and practical, fully expressing the vehicle’s energetic and friendly character.

 

Front appearance

The face of the cab has been designed with the city in mind.
The windshield with an integrated sunscreen filter provides excellent shading, avoiding the impact on fuel consumptionof exterior sunshades.

The bumper integrates the cab steps and the ADAS / AEBS (Advanced Emergency Braking System) radar housing. The headlights, with Daytime Running Lights (DRL) LED (standard), is also available with Xenon headlamps.

A comfortable office on the move

Comfort and ergonomics reach new levels

The new steering wheel and steering column controls have brought the majority of vehicle functions to fingertip distance from the drivers hands, permiting complete safe operation.

Everything in its place

Compartments for storing objects and documents, specific compartments for cards and a coat rack on the back wall of the cabin. The driver side centre console houses two practical bottle holders, a 12 volt power outlet and (on request) a compressed air connection.

Your office on the move

The office module with 20 litre capacity (available in the two-seater configuration) can also house a personal computer or tablet, is equipped with reading light, side storage pockets and two additional USB connectors. Opening the top also creates a comfortable worksurface.

A new interior design

The driver’s comfort is guaranteed by seats with full backrest and electro-welded fabric. There are optional “high-comfort” pneumatic seats available, with wide backrest adjustment, variable height seat belt, double density padding, and heating / ventilation. Armrests are an option with all pneumatic seats.

Focus your attention on the road

The new steering wheel and steering column controls have brought the majority of vehicle functions to fingertip distance from the drivers hands, permiting complete safe operation.
The new 10 inch instrument cluster integrates all the gauges and warning lamps in one easy to read location.
The new 7 inch centre display combines the radio functions with the reverse camera.

Enhanced lighting and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems ensure that the driver and load are protected.

Cyber security

Using a common electronic architecture with the Heavy range, Iveco has developed Cybershield, a multi level security framework covering Electronic Control Units, internal vehicle ECU to ECU communications and all external interfaces to ensure that the vehicle is fully protected from Cyber attack.

LED lights for better visibility and safety

To improve driving safety and visibility, the vehicle is fitted with LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL) as standard.
LED lights are also available for the rear lamps improving durability and ensuring that the vehicle can be seen from behind.

Xenon headlamps available upon request

Available upon request, this headlamps can increase driver attention at night time, and give a deeper and brighter illumination of the road ahead.

DDAW: Driver Drowsiness Attention Warning

This feature monitors the driver alertness and provides a warning when they are drowsy. It helps to avoid dangerous situations for the driver, passengers and all others road users.

ALC: Alcohol Interlock Preparation

Alcohol interlocks enhance traffic safety by preventing people whose driving is impaired due to excess alcohol consumption from driving a motor vehicle. This function manages the alcohol interlock installation providing a standardised interface for the fitment of the Iveco factory option or any compatible aftermarket alcohol interlock devices in to the truck.

ISA: Intelligent Speed Assist

Intelligent speed assistance (ISA) is a system which aids the driver in observing the appropriate speed for the road environment by providing visual and acoustic feedback to the driver. Speed limit information is obtained through observation of road signs and signals, based on infrastructure signals or electronic map data.

MOIS: Moving Off Info System

The system detects and informs the driver of the presence of pedestrians and cyclists in the close-proximity forward blind-spot of the vehicle and warns the driver of a potential collision.

BSIS: Blind Spot info System

The Blind Spot Information system (BSIS) monitors the vehicle side and front side and warns the driver about Vunerable Road Users in close-proximity who might be endangered during a potential turning manoeuvre to the passenger side. There is an option to add this to the driver side as well. The Blind Spot Information system (BSIS) warns the driver when the risk of a collision increases (driver steers or indicates towards VRU).

REV: Reversing Detection

This is a system to make the driver aware of people and objects at the rear of the vehicle with the primary aim of avoiding collisions when reversing. It is achieved with a camera and the display screen on the dashboard.

ESS: Emergency Stop Signal

ESS enhances traffic safety by indicating to other road users to the rear if heavy or emergency braking is being applied to the vehicle.The warning is given by flashing the stop lamps and applying the hazard lamps once stopped.

Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS)

The Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) alerts you when the vehicle changes lanes in an unwanted way. Thanks to a camera mounted at the level of the windscreen, the system recognises the road markings, and sounds an acoustic alarm when it detects a movement of the vehicle without the direction indicators being activated.

Electronic Vehicle Stability Control (EVSC) and Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEBS)

Designed to avoid accidents caused when the driver is distracted: the AEBS system measures the distance from the vehicle in front, and calculates the time of a potential collision. The brakes are applied automatically to reduce the vehicle speed and risk of collision. The EVSC system monitors lateral loads and reduces power and applies brakes to control potential spins or rollover.

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)

It adjusts the vehicle set speed to maintain a safe distance to the vehicle in front.

TPMS: Tyre Pressure Monitoring

The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) function has the aim to constantly monitor the status of PRESSURE and TEMPERATURE of the tyres and provide warning to the driver whenever a problem occurs.
